Our one-of-a-kind still
The combination of modernity, with the low temperature still for the 1st distillation, and tradition, with the copper still for the 2nd distillation, creates a fruity, floral, and elegant whisky.
” Nautilus “
Low temperature still
Stainless Steel – 50hl
Wash Still
One-of-a-kind
Designed by Eric, who built the Distillery, Nautilus took two years to construct and was built specially for the Distillery. It distills at a low temperature: 50°C, which is much cooler than boiling point.
In the kitchen, low-heat cooking preserves the taste of the food; we apply this to our whisky. Low temperature distilling enhances the flavours of malted barley, giving those rich and delicate aromas to our Single Malt Whisky.
This first distillation produces a distillate with an alcohol content of around 25%.

In order to be called whisky, an alcohol content of at least 40% is needed. So, another day of distillation is needed…
” Belle ”
Charentais still
Copper – 25 hL
Spirit still
The second distillation is in our copper still. This purifies the spirit and increases the alcohol concentration. Most importantly, the flavours are selected by making “cuts”.
We get the Head, the Heart, and the Tails.
